There is MAMONO. Oh, it is there.
MAMONO is in a space. It is in the crevice where something shifted.
If it was alone, it would not exist as one.
It shows between something and something. It displays between people and people.
Don't fear MAMONO selfishly.
You often have to look at it.
Is MAMONO presence which should be abominated really?
Is it a figure which does not bear watching?
Each of us, who fear distance, produces MAMONO and its figure. Its existence deceives an ambiguous boundary.
MAMONO is a living creature which connects something and something.
It does not matter even if you do not find result.
If you found its existence, Let's begin an exchange toward someone and something in the future.

| As a title, “Oh! Beloved MAMONO” |
Mamono, this special creature is a phantom and it is invisible actually.
It is wrong that there is nothing at this place wealthy at one of the two.
Therefore, people fear Mamono.
We are immature,
It is because we have neither the interest in something nor concern nor feelings.
That is the result of continuing filling crevices with receiving things.
If so it is better to open the gap.
Because many things pass along a gap, and are flowed and joined.
I would like to confirm the form by myself.
I created the form which I carved and sculptured.
Then I will find as my belief.
And you will realize yourselves.
MAMONO connects the cause of something beginning in a space between something and something.
Therefore, we wish that it should be there.
I weave its existence. And then MAMONO appears.
I weave. I confirm my existence with my body so that I weave.
It is desire which I want to touch something by my hand.
The color, Black and white, express rational,
In order to exceed an alternative,
Red expresses feeling and thought.
The importance of existence is shown with the touch of each color,
The color is also exceeding a little inconsistency.
MAMONO always expresses the humans who continue moving during seeking something
with someone.

■ Memories of light 2 ■

Cotton, wool, linen, acrylic fiber,
rayon, direct dye, acid dye
Scenery which always exists in the neighborhood,
I would like to be taken into that scenery.
When I was wrapped in the light which
shining brightly from the long distance moon,
I thought that I became a part of scene.
I expressed the warmth and size of light by
fan-shaped tapestry.

I cannot understand just thinking of myself intellectually.
What did I have learned from my experience?
I know something with physical sense besides its appearance.
I question my physical feeling,
Then I create my work as hand-woven brocade.
What I understand from it is the fact that I am just myself
Although if it is a lie, or if it is probably true.
I live with self everyday.
There, I feel reliable power from my work.

There are anxious of self-actualization and ambition.
I regard that attitude as important.
Not only myself but also people feel similar thoughts.
I would like to gaze upon our attitude.
Although I have sought myself,
Probably I may not find myself.
Even if it thinks that I am insufficient,
I would like to be pure all the time and to be.

■“Invisible fort”■

Rami-linen, cotton, wool, reactive dye, acid dye
While humans are unconscious, we have built the fort in ourselves.
In order that it may prevent the intervention from outside,
in order to protect one's position.
However, we built it too much well.
Also by ourselves, we can notice neither an exit nor an entrance.
Although we would like to already come out from here.
Probably, we want someone to help us. |
